Provencal Sauteed Chicken with Rosemary and Garlic

Provencal Sauteed Chicken with Rosemary and Garlic is a classic French dish.  First go outside and pick fresh Rosemary from your garden.  I was inspired to plant Rosemary from our trip to France and Spain.  Large bushes of Rosemary were growing wild.  I thought I should plant one too.  So I did.  It has been growing for ten years and I love to go outside to pick it as a great herb for dinner or lunch.

Ingredients

2 pounds of chicken pieces
1/4 cup of virgin olive oil

I used garlic flavored
1/4 cup of lemon juice
3 tablespoons of fresh rosemary.
1 clove of garlic crushed and chopped
3/4 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of black pepper

Garnish with 6 sprigs of fresh rosemary

Add vegetables like cauliflower and tomatoes from your garden.  optional

1 Heat olive oil in pan.  Add lemon juice rosemary, garlic salt and pepper.

2.  Place chicken pieces in pan and saute to sear in the moisture until golden brown

I added mushrooms because they taste good.

3.  Lower temperature to saute until chicken is cooked in the middle.

Some people like to bake in the oven at 425 for 35 to 40 minutes.

Pretend you are eating at a sidewalk cafe in France.
