 Decorating for Autumn is a celebration after the rain.  It's been a hot summer in Texas with over 100 degree weather for two months.  It rained this week and all the colors of fall have popped out.  So it's a joyous occasion to see fall exploding with color.  

Bees loved the rain as they sip nectar from onions.

I planted a Butterfly Bush and it attracts bees too.

It's so fun to watch them celebrate fall by enjoying a nectar lunch.

Lavendar Eggplant blossoms with a golden center say a new fruit is coming.

Zinnias with crimson colors with soft petals celebrate fall.

It inspired me to paint zinnias from our Texas Garden.  Some Zinnias come in shades of pink.

The Celuosa Plant shines with pink in the sunshine.

The Blue Jay celebrates fall by singing his song.

Honey Bees on the Trumpet Vine I've had for 35 years taste sweet.

Purple Heart Plants on two iron tables thrive after the rain.

Sunflowers on the table for friends to visit remind me of the Sunflowers I grew several years ago.  

Since I'm taking two art classes I decided to Paint their photographs.  

The Pink Hot Lip Native Plant blooms with color.  My goal is to plant native plants to Texas because they use less water.  But I also discovered they survived the extreme heat.  

Pink Hibiscus came from tropical climates but they do well in the heat.

Roma Tomatoes finally have fruit because of the cooler temperatures.

Zinnias love to be in a potted planter on stilts to show off their beauty.  

The French love gardening so I'm bringing a little taste of France to our Texas Garden.
