Growing Basil in a French Country Kitchen

 Growing fresh basil is a joy for cooking.  I just put it under a light by the window and it keeps adding new leaves.

 To make sure there are not any gnats flying around I added a cinnaomon stick.  The smell repells gnats.

Basil is used in a Mediterranean cuisine.  Cook it with eggs, pasta chicken, fish and pesto.  I placed the pot that can drain into a blue and white pot that makes me happy..  Treat yourself and grow basil.  It also smells great.
