Consignment Store Discoveries

A consignment store provides a place for customers to sell their merchandise.  The store has the decision to what they are willing to sell and the price.  Each store has their own personality and flavor according to what they decide to sell.

Furniture Buy Consignment is one of my favorite stores in the DFW Area because of the high quality of merchandise and creative displays.  The paintings of colorful birds create a screen placed behind a soft chaise lounge.  I can visualize this in a personal study or retreat for a good book.  

I love the turquoise table with matching pillows.  

A designer already put together an ottoman and matching pillows with rich colors.  It seems like a wonderful place to rest your feet after a long day.

I'm in love with Breakfast at Tiffany's so this black and white artwork of Audrey Hepburn brings me back to her wonderful clothes and stylish hair.  

This brass circular table seems functional and makes a statement.

White curved dining chairs are graceful and romantic.

Toile design is a wonderful addition to French Country accents.

I can see a teenage daughter loving the purple lamps in her bedroom.  

A white leather sectional could seat several guests comfortably.

Looks like a cozy accent chair with soft arms to lounge in.

It's fun for me to browse and notice artwork from the past.  Underneath  was a sign which said  a lawyer was giving his client legal  advice.  I'm sure there is an interesting story behind it.  Looking at her hairstyle it could have been 1915.  

Consignment stores are a fun place to see artwork, chairs, lamps and rugs to match.
