Blueberry Picking at Alford Farm near Emory Texas Showcases East Texas Charm

Alford Farm is a great family get away just an hour and half east from Dallas to pick delicious blueberries growing on a Texas Bush.
It's close to Emory in East Texas with signs to guide you on your journey.  The farm is open most days just grab a bucket to pick blueberries.  Fill the bucket and you get to take home delicious blueberries for only 20 dollars.  Directions on how to pick berries are available at the store.
The blueberries have the most beautiful color of blue.  They taste so sweet and very healthy to eat.
The farm is blessed to have a well so the water supply to the blueberry bushes are a continuous drip to stay cool in the hot Texas Summer.

The well also supplies water to tomato bushes creating juicy red fruit available to purchase.

Blueberry fabrics would make a fantastic addition to your kitchen as a happy memory of blueberry picking.

Texas charm is in the items they sell.

Koi fish are refreshing to watch while you eat ice cream after blueberry picking.

The charm of East Texas is revealed in the stain glass window of beautiful flowers.

A Texas Windmill is next to tall sunflowers reaching the sky.
Yellow Daises add color to the landscape.

An assortment of Bonsai trees are sold for different prices.

In East Texas in July the hay is ready to roll in large carpets of yellow.

Watch out for deer that cross the road.

Lake Fork is close to the farm as a wonderful place to go fishing.
Rent a lakehouse and enjoy long docks for swimming fun.

Rent a ride on pontoon boat to see catfish jumping.

I decided to paint a picture with watercolor and ink of a pantoon boat cruising Lake Fork.

As East Texas trees reach out to the lake visit in the summer for family fun.
